Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Andover-Newton Theological School in Boston, MA., 1970 and 1973. Jungian Analyst, graduated from the C. G. Jung Institute of the Pacific Northwest in 1999.
Dr. Soliday received his Doctor of Ministry from Andover-Newton where his emphasis was in clinical psychology and spirituality. He trained with the Pacific Northwest Society of Jungian Analysts and completed his analytical training in 1999 with a thesis entitled “The Archetype of Splitting.” His specialty areas are:

Dr. Soliday works with adolescents, individuals, couples and facilitates consultation and supervision groups. Dr. Soliday does ongoing supervision of therapists, some of whom are working toward licensing. He was an adjunct professor at Marylhurst University for over 20 years, teaching a series of classes on Analytical Psychology.
Additional postdoctoral training in Jungian depth psychology provides the doctor with expertise to do in-depth work which finds the underlying issues—not just the symptoms—of difficulties, problems, stresses and/or questions with which you might be struggling.
Jungian analysis is a therapeutic method which can:
Explore the symbolic meaning of the unconscious manifested in dreams, nightmares, fantasies, and recurring images- Aid in facing and dealing with haunting memories
- Work with disabling emotional issues such as fear, terror, unbearable anxiety, or crippling depression
- Provide relief for physical symptoms or addictions
Dr. Soliday will work with you confidentially in a contained environment. Sessions are 50 minutes in length and take place once or twice a week. Telephone consultations are available.
